On May, 5, the 119thChina Import and Export Commodities Fair successfully dropped scene in Guangzhou.
Measured from this round of Canton Fair, a series of policies on stabilizing growth and adjusting structures concerning foreign trade launched by the State Council help ameliorate company burden, boost confidence and hinder drop of export turnover. This round of Canton Fair saw an annual export of 182.288 billion Yuan (or 28.084 billion USD), up by 0.1% year on year. Number of foreign purchasers was also slightly rising. 185,596 overseas purchasers from 210 countries and regions got enrolled in the 119th Canton Fair, up by 0.43% year on year. Medium-to-short-term records prevail among all transacted order forms, taking 82.4%. Long-term records account for a low proportion at a measly 17.6%. Compared with previous rounds, procurement intension shown by purchasers is intensified and their price sensitivity declines. Purchasers pay more attention on quality and services of products.
Another characteristic of the Canton Fair is that its effects are further manifested by deepening development of ‘smart Canton Fair’ with informationization means. It releases real-time publication to procurer via six social contact platforms including facebook, linkedin and so on; facebook account of Canton Fair now has over 490,000 followers and its clout ranks the top place in the world; by utilizing preview platform, it launches the special column on ‘brand showcase’ by precisely forwarding information on exhibitor, products and brand showcase, etc; service function of WeChat public account of Canton Fair is to be further aggregated.
Business elites of Everok Group joined the third-phase trade fair under the leadership of President Hu Bo. By thoroughly taking advantage of this platform, Everok Group promoted its brand of Everok, specified logistics business of the Company to domestic and overseas purchasers and obtained sound effects. In particular the eye-catching Panda Show punctuating the leisure hours drew high attention and was highly received. The charmingly naïve mascot of Panda helps shorten the distance between Everok and procurers.
Despite a sluggish global economy, this Canton Fair showed a silver lining. We have firm belief that Everok Group will surely push aside mist and edge ahead by holding up to the service tenet of ‘providing qualified supply chain services to customers’, practicing diligently, intensifying internal resource integration and teamwork cooperation and vigorously extending new businesses.
